While I was late to the party by only recently playing Outrun 2006 for the first time, I’m even more late by playing on a gaming steering wheel for the first time! I got a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel for cheap. I’m immensely enjoying playing Outrun 2006 with it. I think I will be busy with Outrun for a while, but after that I definitely want to try out other games with it, Driver for instance. Now that would be fun!

I don’t know why I didn’t get a wheel sooner. Maybe it has something to do with me not playing racing games very much in the last 20 years. But I should have known that it would be fun. Anyway, it’s great to see that you can still experience new things with an old hobby.
