Finally, I’ve got my hands on a “grey box” version of Wishbringer. It comes complete with the manual, postcard and stone. I wonder if it still glows in the dark. It is already 36 old after all. Very nice to get this right after I just played through Loom, also by Brain Moriarty. I gave up on Wishbringer a little more than a year ago. Now there are no excuses anymore to give it one more go. Especially because the game came with the clue book. But I don’t think that will be useful anymore, because you need a special marker to read the yellowed out hints. And that didn’t come along with it. And it would have dried out by now if it did.
