I felt the need to play The Secret of Monkey Island again. Probably because I watched the documentary that celebrates the 30 year anniversary of TSoMI.

I’m playing the EGA version with proper MT-32 sound and sound effects through ScummVM on the RetroPie setup. I’m loving the gorgeous pixel art and of course all the funny jokes. Although I notice that I am missing the voices from the Special Edition. I think I’ve read somewhere sometime that you could voices from the SE to the EGA version. Maybe I’ll try it out. But I’ll probably have too much fun playing it right now and finish the game before I get the chance to set it up.
