It took me a long time to get through this book. As I’m not really into literature, most things Cloud Atlas is praised for eluded me. What’s left are six different stories that don’t really go anywhere. But it did remind me about some games I’ve played recently, mainly because of the different eras the stories take place in. I was reminded of Chrono Trigger which has a prehistoric age with a tribal setting. And also an apocalyptic setting. It also made me think of Horizon Zero Dawn.
