A weekend with a 27 year old and a 1 year old

A shiny new game box arrived: Hibernated 1: This Place is Death. With lots of nice things included like a beautiful poster, a patch, stickers, a lovely manual, and more. I love it!
This of course led me to play some more of the game. And I managed to solve some more puzzles.

I’ve also played some Mega-Lo-Mania which was first released 27 years ago in 1991 on the Amiga. But I soon discovered that it crashed on the last island of the first epoch under WHDLoad. It’s probably a bad slave or a wrong setting, but I’m too lazy to figure it out. I simply played it from the Gotek instead. A bit slower, but it’s not too bad. I’m glad that I have different options. Just as with the Chameleon and the SD2IEC on the Commodore 64. And if all else fails, there’s always floppies. The ACA500plus let’s me select the regular external floppy drive as DF0:. I’ve tried it already with Dune II and soon will be able to with Mega-Lo-Mania also, because I bought a boxed copy on Ebay. I decided that I would love to have a few more old games in big boxes. I’m currently only aiming for those that come with and benefit from a nice manual.
