Star Ranger is a space shooter that I never played before. The box and manual are in German, but the game is in English.
When I tried it, I couldn’t get it to run on my C64 Reloaded, but on my old C64 it did work. It’s a rather slow affair with interesting enemies. I died on the third enemy because they kept spawning right on top of me. I probably should keep more to the middle of the screen. It’s nice enough for such an early release from 1983. I keep being amazed how playable these Commodore releases still are.
