Do you want to be a seafaring pirate? A wimpy pirate? An x-rated pirate? An ass-kicking pirate? A gold pirate? A pirate who goes Wii? Or a limited edition pirate? The choice is now mine with the arrival of the third edition of Pirates! released in the US. It’s truly the worst one of the three, depicting a guy who looks like he’s about to perform in a Las Vegas pirate show, but it does stand out the most and that’s what cover art is for. I personally like the EU release with the pirate ship the most, because that’s the one I’ve had the longest.

I guess at this point I must get the NES and Genesis versions also. And the CD32 version also has a nice drawing on it…
