Dark Seed II goes fancy too

I don’t have many games in weirdly shaped boxes, like the trapezoid ones for Pitfall or Final Fantasy, the triangle shaped box for Day of the Tentacle or the one with two interlocking triangles for Gabriel Knight. I only have a Traitors Gate in a package shaped like a thick enveloppe and Dark Seed which is shaped a bit like a triangle from the side.

Four years ago, I bought a copy of Dark Seed II that looks almost the same as the first game, but in a regular rectangle box without the protruding part that the first game does have. So when I saw the fancier version being offered I couldn’t resist getting it. It was sold as a lot with the first game and that’s how I ended up with four Dark Seed games. Lucky for me the newest addition of the first game is a lot more complete than the version I already had, so it’s a trade-up for both games. Now, I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for a fancier I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream
