I’ve managed to get my hands on two Roland MA-12C PC desktop speakers. These come up regularly when people talk about retro gaming on the PC. They look very nice in beige with all the knobs and the grills with the company’s name on it. One of the grills is slightly dented, which is a bit of a shame, but isn’t very noticeable. I’ve only listened to them for a little while, because they require non-standard (nowadays) wiring with big 6.5mm jacks, and they indeed sound very good. I’m looking forward to feeding them with the MT-32 and SC-55 to continue playing Sam & Max Hit the Road.
