I bought a Dell AT101W keyboard for cheap. It has Alps switches and is a nice upgrade from the mushy Compaq keyboard that I have been using. It is a bit yellowed but I don’t mind too much. It feels nice, but very different from my daily driver which has Cherry MX Brown switches. It has that classic IBM style look that justifies the extra deskspace it requires.
Maybe the arrival of this new keyboard will motivate me to fix the troubles that I’m having with my Pentium 3 machine. And if it doesn’t I can always try to use it on my RetroPie setup through the KVM switch which has PS2 ports. The PS2-to-USB adapter that I have doesn’t work on my laptop with Windows 10, so I haven’t been able to test it out yet.
