Most racing games let you race in faraway cities (for me) like San Francisco and Los Angelos. So if a racer comes along that lets you race on your local highway you know you want to play it. Never mind that it isn’t all that great. I remember playing A2 Racer back in the nineties. Never for more than ten minutes, because it was not very fun.

What is fun, is that I now have a copy of the original game. Back then I only had pirated copy of course. I don’t think there ever was a big box version though. Maybe there is one of the sequel. I guess I have to get my hands on that to put on my shelf.
