PoE II CE: The second part of my Christmas gift arrived

Pillars of Eternity I was only the first part of my Christmas gift, because I also got Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire in the same purchase from the same seller. I knew it wasn’t combined shipping as that would be too convenient for buyers of course. And that even resulted in two different shipping companies for each package when they arrived in my country. The workings of international shipping are mysterious indeed!

Anyway, this collector’s edition looks just as gorgeous as the first one. And this one is also more complete, because it does contain the mouse pad. It’s gorgeous and I think a lot of people prefer the second game over the first one. I find the first one enjoyable, but it doesn’t grip me as much as I would like. I hope it’s a bit like Baldur’s Gate. I like the first one, but found the second one more enjoyable. And PoE II has turn-based combat, which I like better than RTWP. I know the first game is out with TB combat (or about to be released with that feature), but I’m almost ready to leave off where I abandoned my first playthrough and I do want to change anything.
