Playing more Simon the Sorcerer II

In this second part of my first playthrough of Simon the Sorcerer II, Simon continued to be his obnoxious self. These are the things he accomplished:

  • At the tattooist , there’s the fools’ society. Simon can join as the “porridge wearer”… There is a 3 bears house nearby…
  • The Goldilocks at the dox needs help with crates. Here’s where a crowbar would come in handy…
  • Bongo at the docks can make it rain and needs dancers.
  • Simon went to the guards to get the coinage explained to him. He then could help the ironmonger and he got the crowbar. Every point-and-click adventure game needs a crowbar.
  • Simon used the crowbar to open the crate at the docks. The Goldilocks got in and dropped a wig and an inflatable boat.
  • As expected, once Simon got the crowbar, he could do more then one thing with it. He opened the sewer grate with it.
  • There’s a spider in the sewers.
  • Simon got the 3 bears’ house catapulted.. He could now go inside. He got the rubber gloves and porridge.
  • He also got money and he now could bypass the guards at the castle. To enter, he still needs an ID though.
  • Simon gave the bat from Calysto to the dancers.
  • If he has green cloth, the joke shop owner can make him a Swampling costume. Simon already got the dye.
  • Across the street, he got the cloth. He made it green in the fountain and got a costume made.
  • With the costume, Simon gained access to the Swampling boss, who recognized Simon. I didn’t remember him from the first game.
  • There’s a clock mechanism with which SImon can get the tattoo artist to end his lunch break, but how?
  • Simon gave the poster to Bongo. He then visited him at the town square. His drum has a hole in it. He needs pig’s skin to fix it.
  • Simon poured swamp shake in the ear trumpet of one of the wizards at the competition. He thinks he might scare the others off with a stink bomb from the joke shop. Those aren’t finished yet however.
  • With the rubber gloves, Simon put the electric turtle in one of the empty boxes. He must look for another animal.

That’s it for now. To proceed, SImon needs an ID, win the competition, find pig’s skin, get past the spider in the sewers, maybe get a tattoo.
