Every month I buy another book in the Wheel of Time series. This month it’s A Crown of Swords, part seven of the series. I’ve read the whole series twice now. Once back when the later part of the series was released and again a couple of years ago. I’ll probably do another reread when I have all the books. Watching the series made me want to experience the ending again.
This months Evercade addition is number 44: Broken Sword. This was a bit of a controversial pickup for me. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get this because I already have the original PC games in my collection and saw there will be a physical release of the remastered version of the first game for the PS4, which I’ll then have to get. So this is a bit of overkill. Too bad that Blaze didn’t release it as a blue cart, because then I wouldn’t have to get it. But then they couldn’t release the PlayStation versions of the games which aren’t optimized for gamepad control. I know I’m crazy.
Picking this one up meant I’m continuing with a full Evercade collection. At least the red and purple carts that is. Vacation time is almost here and the Evercade always gets used a lot then.
