I’ve only played BurgerTime 2 from the Data East Arcade 2 cart yet, but it alone almost justifies the purchase of this cart. I only play most arcade games for a few minutes, but I stuck with BurgerTime 2 for more than 30 minutes on my first play session. And I reckon the cart will stay in the Alpha for the coming weeks.

BurgerTime 2 is less picky about control inputs which makes navigating the platforms and ladders less frustrating. You still get stuck sometimes. Probably because of the Alpha’s joystick, which has to cater for different types of games. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to try replacing the restrictor gate. I should because there’s still a little bit of plastic stuck beneath the bezel that I should remove.
