I spend about an hour playing Kingdom of the Seven Stones on the C64 yesterday. A very relaxing experience playing such a slow paced game. Excellent method to unwind a bit. I walked into the herbalist’s shop and took a potion. Before I told the herbalist that I was interested in it, she accused my of being a knave and a thief! Well, I mean, I guess she’s right, but I wanted to do good by her this time.
After the hour was up, I’d visited about 35 screens of the more than 130! There’s still a lot to do. Somethings I discovered for my next play session:
- There’s a homeless guy in the woods with a brooch. Maybe that has something to do with the lady who’s being arrested by the soldier.
- There’s a farmer who want me to round up the other villagers so they can search for his missing sheep.
- There’s a dog in a courtyard that’s blocking my way to a dungeon. Maybe I can lure him away. There’s a butcher in the town.
- There’s an axe at the beginning. Maybe I can chop some wood with it, especially a fallen log.
