With other Firebird releases like Silicon Dreams and Knight Orc already in my collection, it was only a matter of time before I got my hands on Jewels of Darkness.

Jewels of Darkness is another collection of three text adventure games from Level 9. And in cotrast to the aforementioned releases, the included games here are games that I have actually played, albeit only for a little bit.

The games in this collection are not the most accomplished, or so I gather from several reviews. But I’m not planning on playing through them in their entirety. There are a lot of better games that I still want to play. I will however want to spend some time with them. Immerse myself a little. Bit in the stories they want to tell. Both through the game and the manual.
