I bought one of the few Zork games that I didn’t have yet: Return to Zork. It’s the Zork that was released between Zork Zero and Zork Nemesis. Where Zork Zero, which I also don’t have (yet), still has some feelies in the box, and Zork Nemesis is just a boring big box, albeit one with a very nice looking manual, this Zork has a somewhat unusual box design. The top-left part of the box slides off the inner box to expose an opening on the top. It’s the Mac version of the game. I don’t know if the Windows version has the same design, but it’s a nice concept. All those different designs makes collecting big box games fun! There’s nothing fancy inside the box though. Just a manual with an admittedly interesting title: Encyclopedia Frobozzica.
