Ever since I read about Boffo Games on the excellent Digital Antiquarian I had The Space Bar on my wish list. Recently read about Mike Dornbrook in the Retro Hour book and that let me to another Ebay search. I bought a duo-pack that bundled The Space Bar with Rocket Jockey. Both games published by SegaSoft. I don’t know anything about the Rocket Jockey racing game and I will probably sell it. But The Space Bar I will keep.

The box looks quite nice with a colorful embossed alien and neon title on the front cover. The box is pretty thick but only houses a CD-ROM and no separate manual. Bit of a waste of space there. Luckily, the inside of the box is reinforced with carton so it has stayed in shape. This was another still sealed game. I get those quite frequently nowadays. Ripping the seal felt like it was 1997 all over again.
