I finished The Outer Worlds yesterday. It was great fun. The humour really kept me going. And the setting, the characters, the environments and the story were also great. It really gave me the feeling that I was exploring this planetary system.

I played the good guy and it was interesting to see in the ending that not all my choices turned out to be all so good. It left me wanting to know how the other choices might have turned out. But I’m not willing to put in the effort to play through the game again.

I did start over immediately though with a melee character. That is fun, but there aren’t enough quests in the game that I might do this time around that I didn’t do the first time. And there aren’t any other characters to choose from.

There is of course the dlc and the Spacer’s Choice Edition.

And the game has quite some depth in different gameplay styles. So maybe somewhere in the future I will go back to Halcion.
