After playing The Bard’s Tale Trilogy on PC a while ago, I really wanted to play more Bard’s Tale. And because the PlayStation is my goto gaming system nowadays, and I’m collecting physical games for it, I thought I might as well get a copy of The Bard’s Tale IV, for the PS4.

The collector’s edition from the Kickstarter campaign is also on my wishlist, and I’m currently deciding to pull the trigger on an Ebay auction. Even if I did have that version, I would still prefer to play the game on the PlayStation.

I’m currently experiencing that collecting physical games for the PlayStation has its downsides, because having the digital version of a game is much more convenient. Especially if the games and the console are in a different room and if you use streaming a lot. At least this copy comes with a poster and map that justifies my having a physical copy of the game.
