I’ve been after Shadow of the Comet for a long while now. Boxed copies go for crazy prices on Ebay. And while white label versions have been available for next to nothing on local online marketplaces, I wasn’t interested.

Recently, a proper version appeared and after some bidding, the seller accepted my offer. It’s only the cdrom version and not the floppy version, which has more goodies in the box, but I’m still happy to finally own a copy. The box is a rather curious and cheap looking fold-out affair. And it’s baffling to see that there’s only a cd-rom inside and nothing else.

I guess now is the time to also get a white label version of the game that has a proper paper manual included. But after months and months of being alerted about it, it’s nowhere to be found of course. I hope the seller hasn’t thrown it in the trash…
