My pre-order from Funstock came in today with Lord Winklebottom Investigates for PS4 and Sydney Hunter Collection for Evercade. I also bought Wasteland 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 second hand, both for PS4.
A heavy discount tempted me to buy Cyberpunk in the PlayStation Store. But then I found out that a second-hand physical copy was upgradable to PS5 and even cheaper. Even the version that comes with goodies such as a sleeve, a map and world compendium was not more expensive than the discounted digital version. I decided that the drawback of needing to insert a disc doesn’t outweigh the benefit of having those physical goodies, and not unimportantly, expanding my physical PS4 collection.
I also bought a simple copy of Wasteland 3. I would have preferred a big box version to display besides the previous games in the series, but I could only find a collector’s edition that is much too big and doesn’t have matching boxart.
I already played a little bit of Lord Winklebottom and liked it. And Sydney Hunter will probably live in my Evercade for the upcoming weeks.
