Suspicious Cargo: new addition with some nice “feelies”

Suspicious Cargo is probably a bit of an obscure game. It’s a text-adventure game with graphics (and with icons), programmed by Exile Designs and published by Gremlin Graphics in 1991. The game comes with some nice “feelies”, such as a foldable crate with a competition inside that required the participant to send in a picture of the player dressed up as Jonah Hayes, the protagonist of the game. Other things that are included in the box are a sticker, a band-aid, an ID card and a leaflet from Fat Barries Exclusive Luxury Coffin Hotel! All very nice things to get you in the mood. The manual is no slough either with an informative introduction and detailed instructions.

Suspicious Cargo is an Amiga and Atari ST exclusive. As a collector of adventure games, I think it fits well in my collection, where it will find a place on the bottom shelf next to Normality, a game published by the by that time renamed Gremlin Interactive.
