Today, I received a packaging from Bitmap Books. There was no mistaking because the plastic wrapping had their logo on it. That is rather exceptional, but it went even further than that.

Underneath the wrapping was a very thick carton box, also with the Bitmap Books logo. That protected a package wrapped in soft material imprinted with Bitmap Books with very thick corner protectors. When I opened that up, the book finally showed up, packaged in shrink-wrap. For a short moment, I was afraid that the stickers on the front were on the shrink wrap instead of the book itself, but of course that was not the case. I tore into the shrink-wrap and now I can finally take a look inside the book. It’s absolutely massive, weighing in about 2.6 kg. I know what I’m doing tonight!
