Brothers because of circumstances

A while ago, I started with God of War Ragnarok on the PS5 after I ragequit Divinity Original Sin 2 because I forgot to save and the PS5 decided to reboot because of an update.

But I quickly realized that God of War just isn’t my favorite sort of game. I already knew that from playing the previous God of War, of course. The emphasis on fighting is fine by me because of the story, but too much elements are bothering me. Such as who put all the axe throwing puzzles there? And why are there bells that unlock chests?

So it wasn’t long before I stopped and started with my long-awaited replay of The Witcher 3. It’s one of my favorite games. I never finished the second expansion, so I have that to look forward to. If I manage to get that far, that is. I didn’t just want to only play the expansion.

There’s one problem, though. Recently, the PS5 is taken over by my daughter, who got Hogwarts Legacy for her birthday. I quite like watching her play. But when I wanted to play a game for myself, I couldn’t continue with The Witcher 3. That’s when I remembered that I had started with Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons. I continued with that and got to the end. It was a great experience. The puzzles were fun and set pieces incredible. It didn’t overstay its welcome. A great gaming memory.

It would be awesome if I could play it with someone else at some point. I guess it’s doable with both people holding one controller…
